Pirate Sea Glass Collection‚featuring mysterious, almost-black glass that reveals deep- reds¬when lit from behind. These incredibly rare shards date back to the 1700s and 1800s and were once part of rum and wine bottles used aboard ships sailing historic trade routes. They wash ashore like hidden treasure‚ a perfect for bracelets and pendants with stories as deep as the sea.

This glass was recovered from the seas around Sicily. At first glance it appears black, but when held to the light it glows a deep ruby red. This is historic hand-blown ‘black glass,’ used in thick wine and spirits bottles that once carried Marsala and other wines across the Mediterranean and beyond during the age of sail.
